Here’s what you can do to help! Join Hannibal’s cast and crew in creating a Twitter storm this Thursday 10-12PM Eastern using #THISISMYDESIGN as your hashtag WHY IS THIS SO IMPORTANT? It is really important that our views are counted, even if you aren’t one of the lucky 25,000 in the US to be included in the Nielsen ratings. Having Hannibal related tags trend on Twitter while the show airs gives networks like NBC more concrete data on exactly how many of us are watching. Trust me, they will be paying close attention to this ESPECIALLY GIVEN WE TRENDED LAST WEEK! WHAT DO WE NEED TO DO? 1. Tweet #THISISMYDESIGN We’re tweeting #THISISMYDESIGN this week, Thursday 10PM-12PM Eastern time. For International Fannibals - The following link will tell you what time you need to start,just scroll down and pick your city/country to find the event’s start and finish times - http://tinyurl.com/knasvmq 2. One hashtag to rule them all #THISISMYDESIGN is this week’s hashtag - tagging just #Hannibal won’t result in trending. As Twitter puts it:  “Twitter Trends are automatically generated by an algorithm that attempts to identify topics that are being talked about more right now than they were previously. The Trends list is designed to help people discover the ‘most breaking’ breaking news from across the world, in real-time.” If we keep tagging #Hannibal each week (or any other previous tag such as #EATTHERUDE) we will have to keep topping ourselves in order to compete. This is why we need a different hashtag each time :) ALSO NOTE: #THISISMYDESIGN must be the only tag present in order to trend effectively.  ALSO ALSO NOTE: You’ll need to take your Twitter off private if it’s on, or else your tweets won’t trend - same goes for tweets containing swears! 3.
